Sterling Bank partners SPPG for credential verification via blockchain tech

Sterling Bank is backing a blockchain-based digital certification programme built by VX Technologies for the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG), aimed at ending the delays and forgery risk that come with paper credentials.

Under the partnership, SPPG graduates receive tamper-proof digital certificates that employers and institutions can verify instantly, cutting out the manual checks paper documents require.

Sterling Bank frames the investment as part of its H.E.A.R.T strategy, which focuses on expanding access and equity in education, while VX Technologies is funding the initiative's first phase.
